William James Neatby was an architect, designer and artist best known for his designs of architectural ceramics and was Doulton and Co.'s chief ceramic designer. In 1890 came to London to join Doultons. His standout works include the Meat Hall in Harrods and Everard's Printing Works in Bristol.  Other London work includes: 54-55 Cornhill and some sculptural work on the Royal Observatory.
