Andrew Gilbert

Categories: Tragedy

Countries: USA

United Kingdom citizen who died in the terrorist attacks in America on 11 September 2001.

Brother of Timothy Gilbert who also died in the attack.

Andrew Clive Gilbert was born in 1962 and was originally from Ipswich, Suffolk. He was married with children and lived in Califon, New Jersey, USA.

He was an employee of Cantor Fitzgerald and died, aged 39 years, on 11 September 2001 whilst working in company's offices located on Floors 101-105, North Tower, 1 World Trade Centre, Manhattan, New York, USA.

Our information about the Ipswich origins of Andrew and Timothy comes from the Guardian. Confusingly the picture source states that Andrew was born in Chicago, Illinois, but agrees with the Guardian on Timothy's birthplace.
