Rose Wileman

Wife of George.

Our colleague Andew Behan has kindly researched this couple: Born as Rose Banner on 23 December 1921 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, she married George Edward Wileman in 1940 in Birmingham and their daughter, Janet V Wileman, was born in 1941. The electoral register for 1945 shows them at 29 Woodfield Place, London, W.9, but by 1953, electoral registers and telephone directories show that they were at 8 Allison Road, Acton until at least 1969. She died on 19 May 1980 and her death is recorded at Hammersmith. Her husband survived her and died on 18 July 2000 and his death is recorded at Hounslow.
