Medical practitioner and biologist. Born in Ladybank, Fife. He worked on thyroid research at the Royal Free Hospital, with Innes Pearse who he later married. Together they developed the 'Peckham Experiment' at the Pioneer Health Centre.  Died at the Kent and Sussex Hospital, Tunbridge Wells.
