Bookbinder and printer. Born Thomas James Sanderson at Alnwick, Northumberland. He married Anne Cobden (suffragette daughter of Richard) in 1882 and added her surname to his. He was a friend of Edward Burne-Jones and William Morris and became involved in the Arts and Crafts movement. He took up bookbinding in 1884 and co-founded the Doves Bindery in 1898. Died at his home, 15 Upper Mall, Hammersmith.
