Plaque

Tycho

Inscription

To Tycho, a faithful dog who died, V Ian MDCCCLXXXV {5 January 1885}

Site: Jim & Tycho (2 memorials)

SW7, Cromwell Road, Victoria & Albert Museum, Pirelli Garden

These plaques are on the southern wall of the internal courtyard and we've heard that Jim, at least, was buried in this courtyard when it was a garden.  Our picture for Henry Cole shows him with a dog but is it Jim or is it Tycho?

(We can see that giant box-robot doing the splits soon!)
