Lord Soper

Inscription

Lord Donald Soper, 1903 - 1998, Christian Socialist and pacifist, spoke on Tower Hill for over 70 years.

Soper spoke here every Wednesday afternoon from 1927 until 1998, three weeks before his death. There is some film of him here in the 1975 'Bernard Falk's Tour Of Hidden London'.
