Cinema historian. His collection is now held at the Cinémathèque Française which has an on-line catalogue. Founded the Anima Masonic Lodge in November 1912, whose membership was entirely connected with the film industry. In 1919 he helped found a second Anima Lodge in Glasgow which still exists. Manufactured all John Logie Baird's experimental TV apparatus. Also good friends with Friese-Greene. More information at the Picture source and Westminster.
