Christopher David Pullen

Christopher Pullen, aged 12, died in Southdown House when a heavy steel fire door, lying off its hinges, propped up in the stairwell of a block of flats, fell on him causing fatal injuries. The door had been reported as ‘urgent repair’ some three months earlier.

Our colleague, Andrew Behan, states that Christopher David Pullen was born on 12 August 1988, a son of David M. B. Pullen (b. circa 1965) and Karen A. M. Pullen née Crowley. His birth was registered in August 1988 in the Camden registration district, Greater London.

He died on 13 September 2000 and his death was registered in February 2001 in the Camden registration district, Greater London.

On 17 March 2015 his mother created a You Tube page in memory of her son.

He is shown as 'CHRIS PULLEN' on the London Borough of Islington's green memorial plaque in Chris Pullen Way, London, N7.
