Andrew Behan has kindly carried out some research on this man:
Telegraphist Arthur Newton Davey.    Born in 1924 in Willesden, London, the son of Alfred Harold and Emily Elizabeth Davey.  The family home was 8 Milton Avenue, Harlesden, London. In March 1943 he was appointed as a Sorter in the London Postal Service. He joined the Royal Navy, service number C/JX405712, and served as a Telegraphist on H.M.S. Sarawak, a Colony Class Frigate. The circumstances of his death are not known but a Probate Record reads “Arthur Lewton (sic) Davey of 8 Milton Avenue, Harlesden, London, N.W.10., who was last seen alive on the 30th March 1945 and whose dead body was found at Crayaved, Castlereagh, County Down on the 29th April 1945. Administration to Emily Elizabeth Davey. Effects £169 4s.5d.”  He was aged 20 years and is buried in Glenalina Extn. Sec. B.S. Grave 20, Belfast City Cemetery, Falls Road, Ballymurphy, Belfast.
