Lilian Baylis - SW9

Inscription

Lilian Baylis, 1874 - 1937, manager of the Old Vic and Sadler's Wells Theatres, lived and died here.
Greater London Council

Site: Lilian Baylis - SW9 (1 memorial)

SW9, Stockwell Park Road, 27

From English Heritage: "Baylis moved into 27 Stockwell Park Road with her aunt, Emma Cons, in 1914, and remained there until her death in 1937". However Cons had died in 1912 so there's an error in there somewhere.
