Building contractor. Vice-president of the Royal Northern Hospital. Represented Islington in the LCC for nearly thirty years. In about 1930 he purchased a site on Gray’s Inn Road as a gift for the Young Wales Association, a precursor of the London Welsh Association/London Welsh Centre.
