Philip Matthew Beer was born on 27 February 1983 in Barnet the youngest of the three children of Philip C. Beer and Kim Lilian Beer née Richardson (1958-2019). His two sisters were Michelle Linda Beer (b.1979) and and Stacy Beer (b.1981). He had two half sisters: Angelina Susan Ioannides-Beer (b.1990) and Lily-May Anne Ioannides-Beer (b.2004).
He lived in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire and was a hairdresser at Sanrizz, Knightsbridge. His obituary can be found on the BBC News website.
He died, aged 22 years, on 7 July 2005 when travelling in the underground tunnel of the Piccadilly Line on the London Underground Railway between King's Cross and Russell Square underground stations that was targeted by a suicide bomber.
