Puppet theatre. Founded by John Wright. It is a 100 seat theatre in a former temperance hall, and caters for children, families and adults. In 2007 the resident company participated with the Royal Shakespeare Compnay in a production of Venus and Adonis using Japanese Bunraku puppets.

Built as Prince's Theatre by Charles Phipps in 1884. Just 2 years later it was renamed as the Prince of Wales Theatre after the future Edward VII. It was rebuilt in 1937, designed by Robert Cromie.

Alan Bennett's first west end play, set in St Albion's public school (the title is taken from the school song of Harrow public school). It is an allegory of Britain from the end of World War I.
