Plaque

(lost) Bobby Moore

Erection date: 21/1/2007

Inscription

Bobby Moore, OBE, 1941 - 1993, captain of West Ham United & England.
Sports Heritage

The Heritage Foundation website mentions a plaque to him unveiled in 2000 by his wife Stephanie, Sir Norman Wisdom, Kenneth Wolstenholme, George Cohen, Martin Peters and Noel Cantwell. This was presumably replaced by the current one.

Site: West Ham United Football Club (5 memorials)

E13, Green Street, Boleyn Ground

This stadium was demolished in 2016 and we can't find out what happened to the plaques so we have marked them all as lost.
