Referring to the records of Parmiter's Foundation Bethnal Green the National Archive gives: "The records listed below were formerly in the keeping of three generations of the Voss family, Robert Voss, William Voss and G P Voss, who were solicitors in Bethnal Green and who acted successively as Clerk to the Governors from 1884 to 1960."
