Architect and civil engineer. Son of the clockmaker Benjamin Lewis Vulliamy and nephew to the architect Lewis Vulliamy. Also designed the "dolphin lamp posts" (more correctly "sturgeon") on the embankment and drew up the plans for Southwark Park, opened in 1869.
