Sculptor. Born in Partick, Glasgow, Lanarkshire. He moved to London to study at the Royal Academy Schools. He undertook many commissions, including designs at County Hall, and the carving of the wood and stone in the Ironmongers' Hall, London. We cannot find a picture of him, so have used one of the Sheffield Cenotaph which he designed.
