Killed in the Moorgate tube disaster.

2019: Via Facebook we were contacted by Corrine Reynolds: "This is my nan's brother, his name is actually Arthur!!" Worried that our transcription had caused the problem we checked, but the memorial definitely gives "Alfred". If Corrine wants to get this fixed we suggest she starts with TfL. Although they are not named on the memorial we'd expect they were involved in some way and would be able to help Corrine find the right people.
