Plaque: B 1972

Inscription

{Beneath a crown:}
B 1972.

We believe that the crown and the 'B' are indicative of the Bedford Estates and that the date commemorates the royal silver wedding as well as the construction of this mews terrace.

Site: B 1972 (1 memorial)

WC1, Chenies Street

At the southern end of this terrace there is another, similar plaque, on the Bloomsbury/Ridgmount Petrol Station. That one has the crown and the 'B' but no date, and it is all white/cream with the symbols inside a circle inside a square.
