EC1, St John Street
This water trough was not here Spring-Summer 2011 but in January 2012 SilverTiger featured it on his blog. Had it been moved here from its original site? Had it just been away temporarily? We are used to the idea that plaques may be erected as soon as our back is turned but large, solid, heavy, granite water troughs? SilverTiger has also done some research and Dr Prater apparently also gave a circular drinking fountain which is sited in Harefield Road, SW16.
