Formed in 1965 from the joining of Chingford, Leyton and Walthamstow.
Robert Browning lived in this house 1887 - 1889, from here his body was taken for interment in Poets' Corner Westminster Abbey.
The plaque is inside the school building. The photograph was taken at the unveiling.
